Yeah KLIA (KUL) is famous for that check in at Main Terminal, then 20-30 min hike to the C gates for $BTC $ETH ... I mean gate C21-C37.
The layout is brutal: $GTC
- You check bags at Level 5, immigration, then you have to take the Aerotrain / bus transfer to Satellite building
- Satellite was closed for 2 years for aerotrain replacement, everyone was bussed — now train is back since July 2025 but still a long walk + escalators
- KLIA2 (AirAsia) is even worse — 15-20 min from drop to gate if you're at the far end P/Q gates
Tip for next time: KLIA has a buggy service after security if you're tight on time, and immigration now has autogates for most passports so you save 10 min there.
