🧠 A BTC chart can look bullish
while the underlying move tells a completely different story.

Here’s a real example 👇

BTC recently traded around the $82.7K–$87.1K range.

Now imagine BTC pushes back toward $87K.

❌ Don’t immediately think: “Resistance break = BUY.”

Instead, ask these 5 questions:

1ïžâƒŁ Is volume increasing with the breakout?
→ If not, the breakout may lack conviction.

2ïžâƒŁ Is Open Interest (OI) rising quickly?
→ Price ↑ + OI ↑ can indicate new leveraged positions entering.

3ïžâƒŁ Is funding becoming extremely positive?
→ If longs become overcrowded, pullback risk can increase.

4ïžâƒŁ How long does BTC stay above $87K?
→ A sustained move matters more than a quick wick above resistance.

5ïžâƒŁ What happens on the retest?
→ If the old resistance becomes support, the breakout becomes much more meaningful.

🎯 The key lesson:

Price tells you WHAT happened.

Volume + OI + Funding + market structure can help you understand WHY it may be happening.

📌 Next time BTC breaks a major level, don’t rush into a trade. Run this checklist first.

Your turn:
If BTC breaks $87K, what would you check FIRST—Volume, OI, Funding, or the Retest? 👇
