Is Ethereum really just "another coin"? Honestly, I don't think so.

When I first looked at Ethereum, I made a classic beginner mistake. I treated it like Bitcoin, just a price to watch. Then I actually used a dApp and paid my first gas fee. That's when it clicked for me.
Ethereum is more like a platform than a coin. Apps, tokens, NFTs, and DeFi all run on it. ETH is what powers those transactions.

In my experience, most beginners skip this part. They check the price chart daily but never learn what the network actually does.
Here's what I try to do now:
đŸ”č Learn how gas fees work before sending anything
đŸ”č Follow network upgrades, not just price moves
đŸ”č Never put in more than I can afford to lose
Ethereum has its risks too. Fees can spike, and competition from other chains is real. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Not financial advice, just my view.

What's your take: do you see Ethereum as a long-term network or just a trading coin? 👇
