$ZEC is sitting at an important decision zone after the sharp September rally and the recent pullback.
Price is currently trading around $1,330, while futures activity remains heavy with more than $2.7B in open interest. That means the next directional move could become aggressive once liquidity starts getting cleared.
The interesting part is the mixed positioning.
Large wallets have reportedly moved around 24,706 ZEC worth roughly $28M away from exchanges, which can suggest accumulation, but recent ZEC ETF flows have also turned negative. So whales and institutional flows are not giving a
completely one-sided signal right now.
For the next move, I’m watching the $1,300–$1,400 area closely.
A clean reclaim and hold above roughly $1,410–$1,500 could strengthen the recovery structure and bring the $1,600–$1,700 zone back into focus.
On the other side, losing the $1,200 area with strong selling pressure would weaken the current structure and could open a deeper retracement toward the $1,000–$1,200 region.
I’d also keep an eye on Binance top-trader Long/Short positioning, funding, Open Interest and liquidation activity. The key is to watch whether large-position traders are adding exposure during a breakout or getting trapped near resistance.
For me, ZEC is not about predicting one direction blindly. The important move is the confirmation around these liquidity zones.
What do you think comes next for ZEC: recovery back toward the highs or a deeper correction?
