Binance Just Dropped 8 Tokens From Margin Trading — Here's Why It Happens So Often

If you've been on Binance a while, this probably isn't your first delisting notice.

On October 2, Binance pulled margin and loan support for eight tokens at once: REQ, WIN, GNS, TFUEL, GNO, QKC, LAZIO, and OSMO.

This isn't random or sudden. Binance runs periodic reviews of every listed pair, checking liquidity, trading volume, development activity, and regulatory risk. Tokens that fall below the bar lose margin support first — spot trading isn't always affected the same way.

What typically happens next, based on past delisting waves: affected tokens often see sharp short-term price drops as margin positions get force-closed and liquidity thins out. It's happened with pairs like IDEX and A2Z before, and with XRP margin pairs back in March 2025 too.

The pattern repeats every few weeks on Binance — sometimes it's $BTC or $ETH pairs tied to a specific token, sometimes it's obscure altcoins nobody was trading much anyway.

If you're holding margin positions in any token, checking Binance's delisting announcements regularly isn't optional — it's basic risk management.
