Bitcoin cools from Extreme Greed, but fresh buying remains narrow

🧭 The CMC Fear & Greed Index is currently at 67 – Greed, down from 73 last week and 78 a month ago, and well below the late-August peak of 82 – Extreme Greed. Sentiment has cooled significantly without shifting into a defensive phase.

📉 $BTC remains around 84,500–85,000 USD after being rejected from the 87,000–87,300 USD area. Funding has eased sharply, while the latest liquidation wave mainly cleared Long positions, leaving leverage conditions less stretched.

🏦 ETF flows remain positive but have narrowed considerably from the previous week and are increasingly concentrated in IBIT. Meanwhile, Bitcoin exchange reserves near 2.68 million BTC continue to suggest relatively limited readily available sell-side supply.

📊 MVRV around 1.6 indicates the market is still far from historical euphoria levels. The current structure looks healthier than in late August, but a new upside leg would still require broader demand and a clear break above 87,000–88,000 USD.
