$BTC is giving traders a very interesting setup as October begins.
Bitcoin recently pushed above $87,000, but the breakout did not hold and BTC has pulled back toward the $84Kâ$85K area. Current Binance data places BTC around $84.6K, showing how quickly the market can change.
đ LEVELS IâM WATCHING
đŽ Resistance: $86.5Kâ$87.2K
đą Immediate support: ~$84K
đą Next major zone: ~$81Kâ$82.5K
đŻ Psychological level: $90K
The key question is simple:
Can BTC reclaim $87K with strong volume, or will sellers continue defending that area?
đ BULLISH SCENARIO
If Bitcoin retakes the $87K region and holds above it with convincing volume, traders may start watching the $90K psychological zone.
A breakout is more meaningful when price holds above resistance rather than simply producing a short-lived spike.
đ» BEARISH SCENARIO
If BTC loses the $84K area and fails to reclaim it, attention could shift toward the $81Kâ$82.5K support zone.
That doesn't automatically mean a major crashâcrypto frequently retests support after sharp moves.
đ WHY IS BTC MOVING?
Recent weakness in U.S. employment data helped push Treasury yields lower, while Bitcoin briefly jumped above $87K. September U.S. nonfarm payrolls were reported at only 29,000, below expectations, and BTC subsequently faced resistance around the highs.
There is also renewed institutional interest: Citigroup recently raised its 12-month Bitcoin forecast from $82K to $113K, citing stronger crypto activity and renewed ETF inflows. That's Citi's forecastânot a guaranteed BTC target.
â ïž THE IMPORTANT PART
Don't chase a green candle simply because BTC is moving fast.
Watch:
đ Volume
đ $84K support
đ $87K resistance
đ Market liquidity
đ BTC reaction around U.S. macro data
Confirmation > FOMO.
What do you think?
đ $BTC above $90K next, or another dip toward $82K first?
