Bitcoin stalls below $86K after a roller‑coaster week.
Bitcoin tried to break the $85,000 resistance on Friday, was rejected and fell $2,000 in minutes.
It recovered over the weekend, retested the level on Monday and again fell below the $83,000 support, which held through multiple tests.
After Wednesday’s better‑than‑expected PCE, Bitcoin spiked to $85,600, only to be violently rejected back to its start.
Thursday‑Friday saw a rise to $87,200 on a weaker jobs report, then a drop toward $85,200, leaving it around $86,000 and up 2% weekly.
In the same period Quant (QNT) surged 160% and Night (NIGHT) climbed 105%, outpacing larger‑cap alts such as XRP, ZEC, BCH and UNI.
The broader crypto market shows a $3.050 trillion market cap, 56.6% Bitcoin dominance and a 24‑hour volume of $113 billion.
What do you think will be the next catalyst for Bitcoin’s price direction?
