Ethereum closed Q3 with a roughly 70.9% gain, its strongest third-quarter performance on record.
The rally lifted ETH from the mid-$1,500s in early July to near $2,700 by the end of September, outpacing Bitcoin’s approximately 43% advance over the same period.
ETF inflows of about $3.1 billion and rising staking activity helped fuel the rebound after two weak quarters earlier in the year.
Even after the surge, ETH remains well below its all-time high.
The question now is whether the momentum can carry into Q4 or if higher yields slow the recovery.
