The authors of EIP-8363 withdrew their proposal to burn a rising share of Ethereum validator rewards from consideration for the Hegota upgrade. Co-author Jérôme de Tychey said participants in the upgrade process argued that decisions about issuance policy needed a separate process. The authors plan forums and workshops ending at EthCC in April, where they aim to seek inclusion status for a proposal. Lido offered to help steer the process, de Tychey said.
