📊 $BTC 84,376 (+1.5%): cooler PCE gives the bounce a reason
Market Brief: October 1st, 2026 (Thursday)
$ETH 2,719 (+2.0%). Cap $2.90T, dominance 58.3%.
🔸 Core PCE slowed to 3% in August, the lowest since February (via Binance News), and 50 of 61 liquid pairs are green.
🔸 MOVR leads the gainers at +88% a day after Moonriver's migration deadline. I can't find a new catalyst for it.
🔸 BTC funding is 0.0056% per 8h, so this bounce is not leverage-driven.
My read: the macro gave the move a reason, breadth is what makes it believable.
What I'm doing: waiting to see if the green breadth survives the US open.
Does a cooler PCE change your view, or is it already priced in? 🤔
New brief every morning. Follow if you like your market with the first coffee.
