đš MetaMask is exiting affected Ethereum validators following a security incident.
MetaMask says an ongoing incident has affected part of its infrastructure, but it has identified no immediate threat to MetaMask wallets so far. As a precaution, it has started exiting affected validators from its non-custodial staking operations.
The validators are operated through Lido, and Lido says the affected ETH will gradually move through the exit, withdrawal and re-entry process. That cycle could take up to roughly 45 days because of Ethereumâs validator entry queue.
So there are two separate things to watch:
