𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.
𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼.
I just tested USDC on Ethereum → USDT on TON.
Different network. Different stablecoin. One transaction.
Here are the numbers:
50 USDC in.
49.87 USDT out.
Rate: ~0.9974 USDT per USDC.
Network fee: 0.13 USDT.
Estimated time: 2 to 5 minutes.
Two things immediately stood out.
First, even when swapping between two stablecoins, the rate isn't exactly 1 to 1.
Second, the estimated time is wider than the same-network quote I tested earlier. Moving across chains comes with a cost, and you can see it directly in the details.
But here's what really matters:
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲-𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲.
You don't receive bridged USDC on TON first and then need to make another swap.
It's not:
Bridge first, swap second.
It's:
𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆.
That's the difference between simply moving funds and actually completing the move.
