BlockBeats news, September 28: Polymarket development lead Josh Stevens stated that the team is fully committed to developing a new Rust CLOB (Central Limit Order Book) system and announced the latest migration plan for Polymarket DeFi. The existing CLOB is considered to be at the core of most current issues.According to the plan, in October, the complete order lifecycle—including trading, settlement, on-chain interactions, indexer, and engine notifications—will be run end-to-end in the testing environment; in November, all production traffic will be mirrored to the new trading cluster, with results compared against the existing system, while test access will be opened to market makers.Additionally, the team plans to finalize the migration cutover plan in November and complete two full rehearsals before the official switch. If progress goes smoothly, the new system will be officially released afterward.Josh stated that this migration will minimize the changes required by market makers and developers, with request and response interfaces expected to remain unchanged, possibly only adding some fields and deprecating one field, and any deprecation will be announced in advance.
