🔥 One Scoreboard Says Altseason Started. Two Others Disagree $BTC broke out. One says altcoins followed.. Glassnode's Altcoin Cycle Signal flipped from Bitcoin season to altcoin season, hitting 81.25 out of 100 as $BTC broke above $87,000 and, for the first time since June, the rally actually spread. Glassnode tracks 250 large-cap altcoins against Bitcoin on relative performance, and this flip looked different from the last one; Altcoin open interest stayed low relative to Bitcoin's, meaning the move wasn't built on leverage, and breadth, not just a Bitcoin pullback, did the work. 🤔 Two other scoreboards disagree. Blockchain Center's Altcoin Season Index, which requires 75% of the top 50 coins to beat Bitcoin over 90 days, read just 49 on September 22, firmly in Bitcoin-season territory. @CoinMarketCap runs a similar 90-day, 75% test on its own top 100, and recent readings in the high-40s to low-50s were classified the same way. The gap comes down to what each model actually measures. Glassnode tracks short-term relative strength across a broad basket, so it can flip in a single strong session. The 90-day indices need three months of sustained outperformance before they move, which means they lag price by design. Bitcoin dominance, meanwhile, has barely budged, still sitting near 59%. None of the three indicators are wrong. They're answering different questions: is the trade working right now, or has it lasted long enough to trust. #Altcoin Season# #CMC Quest: Earn Rewards# #Macro Insights#
