The Bitget hacker has reportedly moved around 54 million XRP worth approximately $83 million from wallets linked to the September 24 security breach. Around $75 million in XRP remains across the original wallets.
The transfers show the stolen XRP being distributed across multiple addresses, making recovery and tracking more challenging. Importantly, moving the tokens does not by itself prove they have been sold.
The incident has put renewed attention on exchange security, on-chain tracking and XRP liquidity. Bitget says the broader incident involved approximately $387.5 million in assets and that customer balances remain protected.
