đ A New Crypto Coin Just Launched? Donât Buy It Immediately!
When a new coin launches, many people jump in because of FOMO. But the first few hours or days can come with extreme volatility.
Before buying a newly launched token, check these things first đ
đ 1. Research the Project
Read the whitepaper, check the official website, team, use case, and tokenomics.
đ 2. Check Where Itâs Listed
Is it trading on a CEX or DEX? Which exchanges support it? How strong is the liquidity?
đ° 3. Check Market Cap & Supply
Donât assume a coin is âcheapâ just because its price is low. Look at the circulating supply, total supply, and FDV.
đ 4. Check Holder Distribution
If a small number of wallets hold a huge percentage of the supply, there may be a higher risk of large sell-offs.
đ 5. Watch Volume & Liquidity
Look at trading volume and make sure there is enough liquidity to enter or exit without major price impact.
đĄïž 6. Verify the Contract Address
Especially with DEX tokens, always verify the contract address through an official source. Fake tokens and scams are common.
đ§ 7. Donât FOMO
A token pumping quickly doesnât automatically mean you need to buy it right now.
đ” 8. Manage Your Risk
Never put money into a newly launched token that you cannot afford to lose.
â ïž Most importantly:
A coin being newly launched does not automatically make it a good investment.
