BREAKING:Bitget Hit by $351.6M Security Breach
Crypto exchange Bitget has confirmed unauthorized transfers from a portion of its hot and warm wallets, with approximately $351.6 million in assets affected.
According to Bitget: • Cold wallets remain secure
• User account balances remain accurate
• Deposits and trading are still operational
• Withdrawals have been temporarily suspended
• The loss is covered by Bitget’s $464M+ User Protection Fund
On-chain monitoring shows that a large portion of the affected$EVMN.US assets has been converted into ETH, with roughly 68,000 $ETH now linked to the attacker’s wallet.
Bitget says it has notified law enforcement and blockchain security firms and is continuing its investigation. The exchange has not yet fully disclosed the attack method.
