🟠 Bitcoin privacy proposal "Shielded Bitcoin" targets mainnet with Tornado Cash-style shielded transactions. Per BitcoinArchive, the proposal pegs $BTC into encrypted notes, uses ZK-proofs to conceal the sender, receiver, and amount, and breaks the on-chain link when pegging out. Nicholas Gregory is credited with the proposal.
