📉 $BTC
pulled back to about $83,900 today, down from nearly $87,300 earlier this week.
What happened:
‱ The US 10-year Treasury yield closed near 5.11%, its highest since 2007, after strong US business data (flash PMI 58.4).
‱ About $510M in crypto positions were liquidated in 24 hours, mostly longs.
‱ Markets now price roughly a 70% chance of another Fed hike in October, after the Sept 16 hike.
‱ $DOGE fell about 7–8%, while $ETH and $BNB dropped about 2–3%.
Higher yields make risk assets less attractive short term, and much of the drop looks like leveraged longs being flushed out. Key zone to watch: $83,500–$84,000.
