🚨 HYPE is coming to Binance Spot. But the bigger story goes beyond the listing.

Binance announced the launch for September 24 at 11:00 UTC, with HYPE/USDT, HYPE/USDC and HYPE/TRY trading pairs.

So, what’s behind the token? 👇

Hyperliquid is building a blockchain focused on on-chain finance. HYPE serves a role within that ecosystem: it’s used for staking and to pay gas fees on HyperEVM, its application environment.

My take: a Binance listing expands access to the token and could attract new participants. The challenge is turning that attention into sustained ecosystem usage.

Buying HYPE on Binance isn’t the same as using Hyperliquid. That distinction matters when assessing how much of the excitement can translate into real growth.

I’ll be watching what happens after the announcement: whether trading volume holds up, how network activity develops, and whether interest lasts once the novelty wears off.
