đ PAYING FEES IN USDT CHANGES HOW USERS MANAGE A TRANSFER
When someone wants to send a TRC-20 token, the transfer amount is only part of the preparation. They also need a way to pay the network fee.
Requiring a separate TRX balance adds another asset to manage, even when the userâs immediate goal is simply to move USDT.
GasFree support in @BinanceWallet gives users another option: pay the network fee in USDT when transferring USDT and other supported TRC-20 tokens on TRON.
âȘïž For USDT senders, the transfer asset and fee asset can be the same.
âȘïž For other supported tokens, USDT becomes an alternative fee payment asset.
âȘïž Users no longer need to keep TRX specifically for these transfers.
The distinction matters: removing the TRX requirement does not remove the need to cover an applicable fee.
My view: the value lies in giving users more control over how they prepare a transaction.
From September 23 to December 22, 2026, zero-fee spots are limited. After they are exhausted, the fee is 1 USDT per transaction for the remaining campaign period.
