If you're still fading this $BTC rally from last week's lows, stop now.
Watching price recover from $75.5K to nearly $87K while holding shorts or sitting in cash has been a costly lesson for a lot of traders. The FOMO of missing the $82K breakout is real, and so are the liquidations.
$BTC smashed through $86K and tagged $87K after that drop to $75.5K. The move really picked up once it took out $82K and forced leveraged shorts to cover.
Bears are already calling it overextended, a classic dead-cat bounce that will fail. I understand the skepticism after such a violent recovery.
The ETF data makes me disagree. U.S. spot $BTC ETFs saw roughly $999 million in net inflows on Monday, the biggest since $1.21 billion on October 6th, with $433 million coming in Friday. Closing above the 50-week MA is the technical confirmation. Institutions are accumulating while the squeeze plays out.
Is this the real continuation or just another trap?
