AI Stocks Are Rising — But What Comes After the AI Boom?
AI demand is still showing powerful momentum. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently said he expects Nvidia to sell roughly twice as many chips next year, highlighting how aggressively companies are expanding AI computing capacity. But the bigger question is whether this spending can keep producing enough revenue and productivity to justify today’s valuations.
The opportunity may extend beyond chipmakers. AI infrastructure, data centers, networking, power, cooling, cloud computing, cybersecurity and software could all benefit if AI adoption continues. At the same time, the risks are becoming harder to ignore: enormous capital spending, possible supply constraints, valuation pressure and questions about whether AI companies can generate sufficient returns on the infrastructure being built.
