HARMONY — A SERIOUS SECURITY CRISIS

Harmony has now faced multiple major security failures:

🔻 2022 — Horizon Bridge hack: ~$100M stolen, later attributed by the FBI to North Korea’s Lazarus Group.

🔻 2023 — A staking bug resulted in unauthorized ONE token creation.

🔻 August 2026 — An exploit ultimately led to more than 3 TRILLION $ONE being forged, with nearly 2.4T moved by an exploiter.

Now Harmony has proposed fully sunsetting its Layer-1 blockchain and migrating $ONE holders to Ethereum through a snapshot-based airdrop.

With this much uncertainty surrounding the network, remains an extremely high-risk asset.
