Solana is getting traders’ attention again....

SOL recently jumped more than 10% in a day and reached around $112, its highest level in seven months. But the more interesting part of this move is that the strength isn’t limited to SOL itself.

Money has started moving across the wider Solana ecosystem.

Jupiter (JUP), Raydium (RAY), and Meteora (MET) all rallied alongside SOL, gaining roughly 15%–20% over 24 hours during the latest move. When ecosystem tokens start moving together with the main asset, it can indicate that traders are looking beyond just SOL.

There’s also activity happening underneath the price chart.

Recent data showed Solana DEX volume reaching around $17.3 billion over seven days, up 7.8% from the previous week. Network fees also increased strongly during that period.

Solana apps have been busy too.

On September 12, apps running on Solana generated about $7.94 million in daily app revenue, reported as the network’s highest single-day total of 2026. That suggests the current attention around Solana isn't purely about traders pushing SOL's price higher.

And there’s another development worth watching.

Solana has reduced its target slot time from 300 milliseconds to 250 milliseconds, making network updates nearly 17% faster. That doesn't mean the blockchain suddenly has 17% more overall transaction capacity, but transactions can receive updates more quickly, which can be useful for trading and DeFi applications.

Of course, one strong rally doesn't guarantee that the momentum will continue.

SOL and its ecosystem tokens can move quickly in both directions, and some important network metrics remain mixed. For example, recent data showed Solana's DeFi TVL staying roughly flat around $5.9 billion even while trading activity increased.

That’s why the bigger story isn't simply “SOL pumped.”

SOL is rising, several ecosystem tokens are moving with it, on-chain trading activity has picked up, and the network itself is continuing to improve its infrastructure.

The question now is whether this is just another short-term burst of excitement — or the beginning of a broader comeback for the Solana ecosystem.

Either way, Solana is waking up again, and this time SOL isn’t the only thing worth watching.
