Three Chains, Five Quote Assets, One Announcement đŸ—ș

The Bankr post said $TAO pairing on Base. A reply in the same thread said $ARB , and that is the more useful piece of information.

Start with what was announced. TAO is now selectable as the pairing asset for token launches on Base, and the pairing asset is what a pool's swap fees are paid in, so a project launched against it accumulates TAO as it trades.

It is already live rather than pending. Someone deployed a TAO-paired token straight from a reply within minutes of the post, pool quoted in TAO.

Now the part that reframes it.

Answering an unrelated follow-up in the same thread, the bot listed Bankr token launches as supported on Base, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum, and named the Base quote options as BNKR, BA3PUMP, cbHYPE, cbZEC and TAO.

That is a footprint expanding on two axes at once. Where you can deploy, and what your market settles into. Most launch tooling only ever moves along the first one, adding chains while every pool still quotes in the same handful of assets.

Carry one caveat, because the bot raised it itself. It said it would need to confirm which pairing options exist on each chain, so chain support is stated and pairing coverage per chain is untested.

The number I would actually track is not how many chains appear on the list. It is whether launches show up on the non-Base ones, and whether those pools hold volume after week one. Announced surface area and used surface area are different things.

But a launch layer where the chain and the denomination are two separate choices is a genuinely different product from a launchpad bolted to one ecosystem.
