$BTC has pushed back through 81,138 after one of the more hostile macro stretches of the month. The rebound is not happening in a vacuum. This week the market absorbed a Fed rate hike, a failed Senate vote on the CLARITY Act, and a brief flush toward the mid-76,000s. Price is now trading near the top of that recovery with 24h turnover still heavy at about 572M.

The catalyst mix that supported the bounce is clearer than the price alone. Spot Bitcoin ETFs flipped back to net inflows after two heavy outflow sessions, with BlackRock’s IBIT leading the return of demand. At the same time the SEC moved on a tokenized-securities exemption and oil prices eased from the levels that had been feeding inflation anxiety. Those are not soft narratives. They are the kind of structural and flow inputs that can re-open risk appetite even when the rate path remains restrictive.

On the chart the repair is visible. The midweek low near 76,000 has been left behind. Price has climbed back above the short-term averages and is now testing the 81,500–81,750 band that marks the high of this recovery leg. That zone is the real decision area. Acceptance above it keeps the door open toward 83,000–84,500.Failure here would make the first support band 79,000–79,500, with a deeper retest of 77,500–78,000 still possible if the rebound loses sponsorship.

The important distinction is between a short-covering bounce and a genuine re-acceptance of higher prices. Volume on the expansion candle was strong, and the ETF flow turn helps the constructive case. But the market still has to prove it can hold the reclaim. Until 81,750 is accepted with follow-through, this remains a high-quality recovery rather than a completed breakout.
