Five years as a Binance Angel⊠and this one feels special. đ
When I joined the Binance Angels program back in 2020, I honestly had no idea where this journey would take mew
Since then there have been countless hours helping users, answering questions, supporting communities, creating content, attending events, testing things, reporting problems, giving feedback, solving the occasional disaster đ ⊠and, more importantly, meeting people from all over the world who somehow became part of the same crazy Binance family.
It hasnât always been an easy road.
Five years is a long time in crypto.
Markets change. Teams change. Communities change. Platforms change. Sometimes you are extremely active, sometimes life takes over, sometimes you wonder whether all those hours behind the scenes are really noticed.
But I kept doing it because I genuinely enjoy being useful.
Over the years Iâve been nominated several times in the Binance Angels Awards, particularly around content, community and contribution to the ecosystem.
This year was probably my most diverse one yet.
I was nominated for:
đ€ AI Master
đŁ Social Advocate
𧩠Problem Solver
đĄ Feedback Master
Four very different categories, which actually made me smile because they describe pretty well what my last few years as an Angel have looked like.
I create things.
I break things.
I question things.
And then I normally try to figure out how to fix them. đ
And this year I finally came home with the:
đ Problem Solver Award
Out of all the categories, this one probably represents me better than any other.
I have never been the guy who just says, âthis doesnât work.â
My brain immediately goes:
Why doesnât it work?
Where is the problem?
Can we reproduce it?
Can we improve it?
Is there another way to do it?
Sometimes that probably makes me a pain in the ass. đ
But apparently, after five years, someone decided that was worth an award.
So this one genuinely means a lot.
Not because of the trophy itself, but because it represents five years of showing up, learning, helping, experimenting and trying to leave things a little better than I found them.
Huge congratulations as well to all the other Binance Angels who were nominated and to everyone who won this year. There are people in this program doing incredible work quietly every single day.
And thank you to the Binance team and everyone behind the Angels program who has been part of this journey.
Five years laterâŠ
Still here.
Still curious.
Still causing problems.
Still solving them. đ
đ Problem Solver 2026
Not a bad way to celebrate five years as a Binance Angel. đ¶
