One of the biggest NU7 decisions:

The proposal received approximately 99.9% ZEC-weighted support.
The goal is to make Zcash transactions feel more responsive by reducing the average wait for the first confirmation.
3/7 đȘ HALVING SCHEDULE STAYS
Zcash holders also supported keeping the existing Bitcoin-style halving schedule.

That means ZEC issuance will continue following the existing halving structure rather than switching to a completely different issuance model.
4/7 đŠ NSM DELAYED UNTIL 2031
The Network Sustainability Mechanism (NSM) was another major part of the vote.
Approximately 96.6% of ZEC voting weight supported delaying NSM reissuance until February 2031.
This keeps the accumulated NSM funds reserved for the longer-term sustainability framework.
