Is NEAR going against the market? Analysis and trading plan
While the main giants (BTC and ETH) are hovering near the local bottom, $NEAR is showing noticeable strength. Buyers are aggressively defending levels, and the narrative around AI tokens is starting to attract volume again.
On the 4-hour timeframe, we have maintained a global bullish structure — the price clearly bounced off the long-term moving average MA(99), forming a higher low at $2.26. Locally (on 1H), the asset broke through all key resistances, and buyers dominate the order book (about 57% buy orders).
My trading plan (Long):
Jumping in right now "at market" on a green candle is dangerous. The optimal approach is to wait for a slight pullback.
Entry point: $2.420 (retest of broken levels and MAs)
Target 1 (TP1): $2.540 (+5% move) — securing half of the position and moving the stop loss to breakeven.
Target 2 (TP2): $2.640 (+9% move) — right before the local highs.
Stop-loss: $2.345 (~3.1% risk) — exit if the price falls back below support.
Risks:
The setup looks solid, but keep $BTC in mind. If Bitcoin suddenly drops to update its lows below $74,900, liquidity will quickly drain from even the strongest altcoins.
