STOP HUNT - Why Your Stop Loss Always Gets Hit Then Price Goes Your Way? 👇

Have you noticed this?

You go LONG, price dips, hits your stop, then pumps hard without you.
You go SHORT, price wicks up, takes your stop, then dumps.

It's not bad luck. It's Stop Hunt / Liquidity Grab.

What really happens:

1. Big players know where retailers put stops - just above resistance or below support.
2. They push price to that zone to collect liquidity (your stop = their liquidity).
3. After grabbing stops, price moves to the real direction.

That's why you see long wicks on 5m/15m charts.

How I avoid it:

‱ Don't put SL exactly at support/resistance. Give it 1-2% buffer.
‱ Don't use tight 0.5% SL on volatile coins. You will get hunted.
‱ Check HTF. If 1H/4H is bullish, don't short a small 5m break.
‱ Use position size, not tight SL, to manage risk.

Stop loss is for protection, but smart money uses it as fuel.

Have you been stop-hunted before? How do you set your SL?
