#TokenizedStockHoldersUp619.1%
🚹 TOKENIZED STOCK HOLDERS SURGE 619.1% — IS WALL STREET GOING ON-CHAIN?
Tokenized stocks are becoming one of the fastest-growing bridges between traditional finance and crypto.
📊 According to Token Terminal data, the number of holders of tokenized stock assets has jumped 619.1% in just 90 days, reaching more than 3.6 MILLION holders.
🌐 Holder distribution is also showing where the activity is concentrated:
‱ BNB Chain — ~1.5M holders
‱ Robinhood Chain — ~1.2M
‱ Solana — ~647,500
And this growth comes as major financial institutions move deeper into tokenization.
Nasdaq recently announced a $100 million investment in Payward, the parent company of Kraken, as part of a partnership focused on infrastructure for trading tokenized equities. Nasdaq expects its tokenized-equity initiative to progress toward launch in 2027.
đŸ”„ WHY THIS MATTERS
Tokenization could eventually bring:
⏰ More flexible trading hours
⚡ Faster settlement
🌍 Broader global access
🔗 Blockchain-based ownership infrastructure
💰 New ways for traditional assets to interact with digital markets
But there is an important distinction:
A token that tracks a stock does NOT automatically mean the holder has the same rights as a traditional shareholder.
Regulatory structure, custody, redemption mechanisms and actual ownership rights remain critical factors. The SEC has also highlighted that tokenized securities are still securities and their structure matters.
The 619.1% growth is significant, but it should be viewed as evidence of rapidly increasing adoption—not as a guarantee that tokenized stocks will replace traditional markets.
📈 Traditional finance is moving toward blockchain.
The bigger question may no longer be whether stocks will be tokenized

It may be who builds the infrastructure that becomes the standard.
