WINkLink’s Price Feed Service is designed to bring aggregated market data on-chain for smart contracts.

Here’s the basic flow:

🔹 Multiple nodes provide price observations
🔹 The observations are aggregated
🔹 The median is used as the final price
🔹 Deviation thresholds and heartbeats help keep feeds updated

The documentation currently describes 7 independent price feed nodes.

Why does this matter?

DeFi protocols can depend on price feeds for lending, collateral, liquidations, and other financial logic where stale prices can cause problems.

WINkLink also creates new rounds when feeds are updated, allowing historical price data to be queried.

Good oracle infrastructure isn't just about getting a price on-chain.

It’s about making that data useful for applications. ⚡
