Charles Schwab — managing $13 trillion in assets — is about to let retail clients trade $SOL, $AVAX, and $LINK directly on their platform.

This matters because:

1. Distribution at scale. Schwab isn't some niche crypto exchange. It's where millions of regular investors already park their retirement accounts and brokerage cash. When they can click a button and buy $SOL next to their Apple stock, that's a different kind of adoption.

2. Institutional comfort zone expanding. A few years ago, institutions wouldn't touch anything beyond $BTC. Then $ETH got the nod. Now we're seeing major platforms green-light L1s and DeFi infrastructure tokens. The risk appetite is clearly shifting.

3. Liquidity flows follow infrastructure. Once Schwab, Fidelity, and others build the rails, capital doesn't need to jump through hoops anymore. It just flows. That's when you see sustained buying pressure, not just speculative pumps.

The bigger picture: this isn't about one platform adding three tokens. It's about the normalization of altcoins in traditional finance. When a $13 trillion institution treats $AVAX like a legitimate asset class, the psychological barrier breaks for everyone downstream.

Still early, but the on-ramp is getting a lot wider.
