Last night I was looking at @Dusk again, and one thing stood out to me: the Nocturne testnet is starting to feel less like a demo and more like a real proving ground.
The latest updates around the faucet, node installer, wallet improvements and network resilience caught my attention. Dusk says Nocturne is where new functionality gets tested and stress-tested before mainnet, and that’s exactly how I want to see a serious L1 behave.
What I like about #Dusk is the direction. It’s not trying to be another generic chain. The whole idea is privacy + compliance + financial assets on-chain. If institutions ever move securities, funds or other regulated assets onto public infrastructure, that problem matters.
But here’s where I stay cautious.
A better faucet or smoother node installer is good engineering, not adoption. Even a technically strong testnet doesn’t prove that developers, institutions and real assets will eventually create meaningful demand for DUSK.
That’s the part I’m watching.
If Nocturne can handle heavier loads, more nodes, more contracts and repeated upgrades without breaking down, the mainnet story becomes much more credible.
For me, this phase isn’t about price yet. It’s about watching whether the infrastructure survives pressure.

Now I want to see the network earn it.
