A technically strong blockchain can still fail to become a real market.
That thought kept coming back to me when I looked at Dusk.
Dusk is clearly positioning itself around regulated financial markets, with privacy, compliance and infrastructure designed for institutions.
But institutions alone don't create a healthy market.
You also need liquidity.
Imagine a regulated tokenized bond with perfect settlement and strong privacy, but barely anyone is willing to trade it.
The technology can work exactly as designed and the market can still feel empty.
That's why I think Dusk has a harder challenge than simply proving that its infrastructure works.
It needs to turn institutional use cases into markets where there is enough activity for those assets to actually become useful.
I don't see that as a criticism of Dusk specifically.
It's just the uncomfortable part of RWA adoption that technical discussions often skip.
A blockchain can solve custody, privacy and settlement.
But it can't manufacture demand by itself.
Question: What would make DuskTrade feel like a real market?
