I’ve been looking at Dusk lately, and honestly, I think the market is missing something.
Most people seem to judge DUSK by its price chart and move on. But when I looked deeper, the supply situation caught my attention. More than 210M out of the 500M total supply is reportedly staked. That’s a lot of tokens sitting out of circulation, which can make the actual liquid market much thinner than it looks on paper.
I noticed that myself when I tried swapping a small amount on Uniswap. The liquidity wasn’t exactly impressive, and even a relatively small trade could have an impact.
What’s interesting is that people still describe Dusk as “another privacy project.” I think that’s too simple.
The bigger bet seems to be around regulated finance, digital securities, identity, and infrastructure that could eventually connect blockchain with real financial markets.
Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to work. Adoption is still the big question, and building good tech doesn’t automatically create demand.
But that’s why I’m keeping an eye on it.
Dusk doesn’t feel like a project trying to scream for attention. It feels more like one of those projects quietly building while everyone else is chasing the next narrative.
And honestly, I kind of like that.
Want it more raw and personal, or more natural crypto-Twitter style?
