Avalanche (AVAX) remains one of the major Layer-1 blockchain projects, competing with networks such as Ethereum and Solana. As of August 24, 2026, AVAX is trading around $7.5, after recovering strongly from the $6.3 area. Over the last 30 days, AVAX has gained roughly 20% against USDT, showing renewed buying interest.
One of Avalancheâs main fundamental catalysts is Avalanche9000, a major network upgrade designed to make launching independent Avalanche L1 blockchains cheaper and easier. The upgrade significantly reduced infrastructure requirements for validators and gives individual Avalanche L1s greater control over their validator systems.
Real-world adoption could also support the ecosystem. In August 2026, a blockchain-based academic verification system in Kenya reportedly began using Avalanche infrastructure for more than 30 million educational records.
AVAX Price Prediction for the End of 2026
đą Bullish Scenario: $15â20
If Bitcoin and the broader crypto market remain strong, while Avalanche attracts new institutional, gaming, RWA and enterprise projects, AVAX could potentially return toward the $15â20 area.
đĄ Base Scenario: $9â13
A more realistic scenario would be gradual recovery. If AVAX maintains momentum above the current $7â8 region and network activity continues to grow, the token could finish 2026 between $9 and $13.
đŽ Bearish Scenario: $4.50â6
If the crypto market enters another major correction or demand for Avalanche L1s remains weak, AVAX could revisit the $5â6 region, with deeper downside possible during extreme market weakness.
My AVAX Outlook
My main target range for AVAX by the end of 2026 is $10â13.
A sustained breakout above $10 could significantly improve the technical structure and potentially open the way toward $15 and eventually $20.
Avalanche remains a high-risk asset, but at current prices its ecosystem development and relatively low valuation compared with previous market cycles make AVAXUSDT an interesting cryptocurrency to watch during the rest of 2026.
