I’ve started looking at privacy blockchains differently. For me, privacy isn’t just about hiding transactions; it’s about making financial infrastructure usable when sensitive information cannot be exposed to everyone.
That’s why I find Dusk Network interesting.
Dusk is a Layer-1 blockchain built around financial applications, with privacy and confidential execution designed into the network. Its Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard supports confidential smart contracts while still keeping transactions verifiable.
I think this is an important distinction. Public blockchains are powerful because everything can be transparent, but traditional finance often works with information that simply cannot be public.
I don’t think the future requires choosing between transparency and privacy. I think we need systems that can prove what matters without revealing everything behind the proof.
That’s the part of Dusk I’m watching closely.
For me, the real test isn’t the narrative. It’s whether this architecture can make privacy practical for regulated financial markets, institutions, and real-world assets.
If that happens, I think privacy becomes infrastructure rather than a feature.
