When we talk about crypto privacy , we often think thak everything will be hidden. But while digging a little deeper into Dusk , I found their approach of public and shielded addresses interesting.
Not all transactions in Dusk are peivate in the same way. public transactions can be made through moonlight, and sensitive transaction details can be shielded using phoenix.
For me, The main issue is not privacy , but control . This flexibility of which information will be public and which will be private seems more practical for financial use cases.
Because in the real world, transparency is needed , but there in no need to keep all financial data in front of everyone .
Dusk is trying to create a middle ground between there two.
Now the real question is - How much adoption dose this model get in reality??
