#dusk $DUSK @Dusk I was looking at DUSK this morning from a slightly different angle not as another L1 token waiting for speculation to drive its price, but as an asset tied to actual network activity.

After mainnet, DUSK has a more functional role across the ecosystem, from staking to powering activity around confidential smart contracts and privacy focused financial applications. That creates an interesting question around token demand: if institutions actually start using Dusk for tokenized assets, compliant transactions and private execution, network usage could become a much stronger driver than pure market narratives.

But there’s a catch.

Utility only matters if the users arrive. If institutional adoption takes longer than expected while token emissions and available supply continue increasing, the economics could face pressure before real transaction demand becomes meaningful.

So the bigger DUSK thesis, in my view, isn’t simply “privacy + RWA = bullish.”

It’s whether Dusk can turn institutional interest into consistent on chain activity.

If that happens, utility starts reinforcing the token economics. If it doesn’t, speculation may remain the dominant force.

That’s the part I’m watching most closely.
