I found a number on TermMax that might be more interesting than the APY.

Open the USDC Vault V2 and there’s something most yield dashboards don’t make me think about:

Where is the money actually going?

TermMax currently shows the vault’s capital split between funds deployed into fixed rate lending markets and funds that remain idle. It even breaks down allocations market by market.

That caught my attention because an APY alone tells you very little about how a vault is using its capital.

Two vaults can display a yield.

But underneath, the allocation can be completely different.

For me, this is a much better way to explore DeFi:

Don’t stop at “What’s the APY?”
Ask “What is my capital actually doing?”

That little allocation panel on TermMax tells a bigger story than I expected.
