Dusk doesn’t need 1,000 RWA tokens.
It needs 1 market where people actually come back to trade.
That’s the part I keep watching with Dusk Trade. The current Dusk site points to €300M+ in confirmed issuance with institutions, while the NPEX relationship shows a €200M+ confirmed issuance signal and a 20,000+ investor base. (Dusk)
Those numbers sound useful, but issuance is still the easy part.
The harder question is what happens after someone buys.
Can they find another eligible buyer? Can orders actually meet? Is there enough activity to make pricing meaningful?
Dusk’s own recent material makes the same point: tokenization can reduce transfer and settlement friction, but it cannot create buyers, sellers or fair prices. (Dusk)
That makes Dusk Trade more interesting to me than another asset-count headline.
I’d rather see 10 assets with repeated secondary-market activity than 1,000 tokens sitting there with almost no trading.
Because once there is real turnover, you can start measuring something meaningful: repeat users, volume, spreads, settlement activity.
Until then, a growing asset list can look impressive without proving much.
That’s the number I’ll be watching.
