#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
I think I finally understand what makes Dusk different.
It’s not just about hiding transactions.
The bigger idea is being able to prove something is true without exposing everything behind it.
That sounds simple, but for real financial markets, it could be huge.
Think about an institution moving a large amount of assets on-chain.
It needs privacy because competitors shouldn't be able to watch every move.
But it also needs compliance. Regulators still need to know that the rules were followed.
That creates a difficult balance:
too much transparency = no confidentiality.
too much privacy = no accountability.
This is where Dusk starts getting interesting to me.
With Moonlight and Phoenix, the network can handle different levels of visibility instead of treating every transaction the same.
And with zero-knowledge technology, the goal isn't simply to hide information.
It's to prove what needs to be proven while keeping sensitive details private.
For RWAs, that's a much bigger idea than “privacy.”
It could mean financial assets moving on-chain without forcing institutions to expose their entire strategy to the world.
The €300M DuskTrade/NPEX story makes this even more interesting.
Maybe the real test for Dusk isn't whether it can keep transactions private.
Maybe it's whether privacy can finally become practical for regulated finance.
That’s the part I’m watching.
