Financial Settlement Needs Certainty

Dusk is designed around a simple requirement in financial markets: knowing when a transaction is truly final.

Its consensus architecture uses Succinct Attestation to provide deterministic settlement finality, rather than leaving users to wait for increasing confirmation probability.

That distinction matters when the transaction represents an asset, payment, or ownership record. In these cases, “probably final” is a very different guarantee from having a defined point where the network considers settlement complete.

This is one reason Dusk’s architecture focuses on more than transaction speed. For financial applications, predictable finality can be a core infrastructure requirement.
