Honestly, I thought tokenization was supposed to make the whole process cleaner.

Then I went through Dusk’s SME tokenization flow a little more carefully.

And one thing stood out.

Putting the ownership record onchain doesn’t suddenly make the real-world rules disappear.

The company still has approvals to deal with.
Investors still need checks.
Some transfers can still require a notary.
Tax and servicing decisions can still sit with people.

So the blockchain isn’t replacing that layer.

It’s sitting underneath the ownership record while the legal machinery continues to do its job.

That actually made me look at tokenization differently.

Maybe the real breakthrough isn’t:

“Everything moves onchain.”

Maybe it’s:

“The part that can be standardized moves onchain, while the parts that legally can’t are left where they belong.”

And that feels like a much more realistic way to build RWAs.

Because putting a token onchain is easy to explain.

Figuring out what actually changes after the token exists is the interesting part.#dusk $DUSK @Dusk $VVV $GPS
