I’ll be honest, what caught my attention about @Dusk_Foundation Network wasn’t the privacy angle.
It was the token economics.
DUSK is used for gas and staking, but there’s a detail I think is easy to overlook: the network can release up to 500M additional DUSK over 36 years, with emissions halving every four years.
That made me think about staking rewards differently.
Yield can look attractive on paper, but if it’s mainly coming from token emissions, I always want to ask where the real demand is coming from.
That’s where Dusk gets interesting to me.
It’s trying to bring confidential blockchain infrastructure into financial markets, where privacy and compliance actually matter. But that doesn’t automatically mean strong token demand.
The real test, in my view, is whether genuine financial activity eventually creates enough network usage to offset the pressure from emissions.
My takeaway: I’m less interested in the headline APY and more interested in whether Dusk can turn real usage into sustainable demand for DUSK.
