$LOT is down almost 23% in 24 hours, and at first glance, this looks like another small-cap token getting crushed.
But there’s something interesting happening behind the chart.
League of Traders has a scheduled token unlock coming on August 20, with about 35.69M LOT expected to enter circulation. That’s around 3.6% of the token’s maximum supply.
The unlock itself doesn’t automatically mean LOT has to dump. But traders often start pricing in potential selling pressure before an unlock actually happens, especially when liquidity is relatively thin.
That could be one reason the market is getting nervous around $LOT right now.
Looking at the CMC chart, $LOT is sitting around $0.00565 after falling sharply. The interesting part is that the price appears to be finding some stability around the $0.00550 area.
The technicals are also giving a mixed picture.
The RSI has moved back above 57, suggesting buying momentum has returned after the sell-off. MACD is slightly positive too, which could point to short-term recovery momentum.
But there is still a major problem.
$LOT is trading below its 200-period moving average, which is around $0.00629 on the chart. Until price can reclaim that area, I wouldn’t call this a confirmed reversal.
So for me, the key levels are simple:
$0.00550 is the area I’m watching for support.
$0.00590 to $0.00600 would be interesting for a stronger recovery.
And reclaiming the $0.00629 200 MA would make the chart look much healthier.
The bigger question is what happens around the August 20 unlock.
If $LOT absorbs the additional supply without another major sell-off, that could be a positive sign that demand is stronger than expected.
If selling accelerates, then the market may be telling us that supply pressure is still the dominant story.
Either way, this is a token worth watching rather than blindly chasing.
I’m watching $LOT closely from here.
What do you think, temporary panic or more downside ahead?
