The Secret Service wasn't taking any chances though. Trump quietly switched planes in Ankara, got driven across the airport in a catering truck, then flew to Britain on a military jet with F-16s alongside.
But this part is pretty interesting. Some U.S. intelligence officials think Israel may have shared the warning partly to influence Trump's thinking on Iran and Turkey, not just to keep him safe.
Still, nobody wanted to be the guy who ignored the warning and got it wrong.
